Strong earthquake hits Armenia, magnitude 5-6 felt in Yerevan
Armenia's Emergency Situation's Ministry's Seismic Protection Service recorded magnitude-4.7 earthquake in Armenia, on Saturday, February 13 at 15:29 p.m. local time, 8 km southwest from capital Yerevan, and 10 km beneath the surface.
According to MES, at the epicenter the quake measured magnitude 6-7.
In capital Yerevan the quake measured magnitude 5-6, in Aragatsotn, Ararat, Shirak, Armavir, Vayots Dzor provinces magnitude 3-4.
