Armenia’s police initiated a criminal case on the statements opposition party candidate for PM’s post Vazgen Manukyan made during the Saturday rally in Liberty Square.
Consultant to Armenia’s attorney general Gor Abrahamyan told Aysor.am the criminal case is initiated under the features of Article 301 of the Criminal code – public calls addressed to overthrow of constitutional order, usurpation of power, violation of territorial integrity.
Abrahamyan said the criminal case has been sent to the Investigative Committee for preliminary examination.
During the rally Vazgen Manukyan stated that “it is necessary to be ready to take the power by rebelling at lightening speed.”
