Baku tries to make issue of captives matter of bargaining – Armenia’s PM
Azerbaijan is trying to make the issue of captives a matter of bargaining which is not proper, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview to 1in.am.
He said the November 9 trilateral statement fixes the clear commitment of immediate exchange of captives.
Pashinyan noted that they intensively work to give operative solution to the issue of captives.
“We are hopeful and convinced that these issues will be settled another thing is when. It is clear that here every minute is painful, it is first of all important for the families of our missing and captured brothers but I want to assure that in the same way every moment is important and painful for the government too and for me these are minutes of hard responsibility and we should bear this responsibility,” the PM said.
He noted that so far 69 captives returned.
“We must continue working till they all return,” he said.
