Artsakh president meets with Onik Gasparyan, Nikol Pashinyan – spokesperson

Artsakh president Arayik Harutyunyan met with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Onik Gasparyan in the sidelines of mediatory actions he stated earlier, his spokesperson Lusine Avanesyan told Artsakhpress.

“The information as if Artsakh president Arayik Harutyunyan “demands” resignation from Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan does not correspond to reality,” she said.

She said the president met with Pashinyan and Gasparyan and discussed with them issues on overcoming the situation based on domestic stability and foreign security priorities of Armenia and Artsakh.

She stressed that during the meeting with Gasparyan the issue of resignation was not discussed at all.

As to the format of the meeting she said not only NSS director Armen Abazyan was present but also secretary of Artsakh Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan and another official.
