If it was military coup, troops would have already be in Yerevan – ARF-D representative on the statement of Armed Forces

Armenia’s Prime Minister lives in another reality, ARF-D Armenian Cause and Political Affairs responsible Kiro Manoyan said in Baghramyan Avenue today, referring to PM’s response to the statement of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces.

“He stated that what happened is an attempt of military coup. If they made an attempt of military coup the troops would already have at least be in Yerevan,” Manoyan said, adding that there was no such attempt at all.

Commenting on yesterday’s rally of the PM, ARF-D representative said that he wanted to show strength.

“He considered that yesterday was a convenient moment and with the help of oligarchs supporting him, forcing the employees of state system to participate [in the rally] he ensured certain number. While the march organized near the Liberty Square before the rally was a provocation and was wrong,” Manoyan said.
