People fighting against Azerbaijani propaganda for long time suddenly targeted in Armenia – political analyst on arrest of Ara Saghatelyan
Ara Saghatelyan, Karen Bekaryan, Anzhela Elibegova… there is an impression that the people who for long time fought against Azerbaijani propaganda are being suddenly targeted, political analyst Alexander Markarov said at a press conference today.
“It raises thoughts why these people are being targeted in post-war situation. To say that there is injustice, it is an issue of court. We may just record a fact that what happened is targeted and this injustice does not bring honor and it is a serious issue to live in this conditions and a serious blow to every authority,” the political analyst said.
He noted that it is not good for the authorities to have situation when as a result of their actions political prisoners appear in the country.
As to the decision to arrest Ara Saghatelyan Markarov said both the analysts and reporters know what anti-Azerbaijani propaganda he carried out for years.
