Deputy governor of Armenia’s Gegharkunik steps down, joins General Staff statement

Deputy governor of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province, former military commissar, mayor-general Henrik Muradyan stated about stepping down and joining the statement of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces.

“The unpromising policy of the authorities of the Republic of Armenian resulted that the regime defied the Armenian Armed Forces, a thing that means raising hand on the Armenian sanctity – the Armenian army. As a general standing in the springs of creation of the Armenian army I cannot tolerate all this and forgive any encroachment against the army especially by the authorities of own country, therefore, I am leaving the post of the deputy governor of Gegharkunik province according to my application and join the statement of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and support the Chief of the General Staff,” he said in a statement.
