Armenia’s PM states about need to pass to semi-presidential governance system
The time has come to record that we must work and in October of this year adopt new Constitution or constitutional amendments via national referendum, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the rally today, adding that finally the passing to semi-presidential governance system will be one of the possible variants.
He said this process must be implemented in conditions of close cooperation of the National Assembly, government, president, political forces and civil society.
“During the upcoming month we must work on amending the articles which can be amended as a result of voting and consultations in the NA,” Pashinyan said.
He said the biggest issue must be the creation of such systems that will guarantee the security and stability in Armenia.
