The motion of PM Nikol Pashinyan to release Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Onik Gasparyan may enter into force from March 4.
This was reported by expert in constitution Aram Vardevanyan.
He said that the president who returned PM’s motion with objections, basing on the circumstance that it contradicts the Constitution today in his statement said he would not sign the anti-constitutional decree but will apply to CC to dispute law which was not recorded in his objections.
He said it means that the norm which has issues with constitutionality may enter into force from March 4.
“I am sorry that vahagnhovakimyans and the person on PM’s post were above the Constitution and army for the president. I am sorry that the president made such concession in such conditions, I regret…” Vardevanyan wrote on Facebook.
