Armenia’s health minister says some bodies of killed servicemen seriously damaged, impossible to identify
Some bodies of servicemen killed in the war are seriously damaged which makes it difficult to conduct forensic examination and identify, health minister Anahit Avanesyan told the reporters today.
“We will have a small number which we will not be able to identify with the DNA test. There are bodies damaged so seriously that forensic examination will not be possible even in other countries,” the minister said, stressing that she can’t say anything about the fate of the damaged bodies yet.
“Over 2,200 bodies have been recognized, 180 relatives are waiting for response. We have 2,400 people who passed DNA analysis,” the minister said.
Avanesyan said the number of bodies difficult to work with reaches 210.
