Armenia’s PM urges people to comply with epidemiological rules not to return to restrictions
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan speaking at the cabinet sitting today stressed about the essential growth of coronavirus cases in Armenia.
Health minister Anahit Avanesyan said 4,285 tests were conducted yesterday of which 748 were positive.
The minister said the active cases as of the moment are 6,772 of which 901 are hospitalized.
“As of the moment we have nine expanded medical centers serving coronavirus patients. Now we have about 100 beds and continue expanding works,” she said.
The minister noted that efforts must be exerted for the number of patients not to exceed the number of beds.
PM stressed the necessity to comply with epidemiological rules.
“We need to move with a path not to have the need to set restrictions,” he said.
