Due to absence of political responsibility we are becoming Papuans to the world – Ara Sagahtelyan

No one speaks with Armenia about future as the country’s authorities are not legitimate and Armenia has no subjectivity after the shameful defeat in the war, former head of NA staff Ara Saghatelyan, first post-war political prisoner said in an interview to 24News.

“If we defeated with dignity, if during that time people were not fooled, if not the terrible logistic and management mistakes, the volume of the lies the prime ministers should also have resigned and in such case it would have been better for country. We are not understandable to the world in any way. Because of absence of political responsibility we are becoming Papuans to the world. We are falling. The shadow justice has never been in such situation in this country. Today we are selling the future of our children,” Ara Saghatelyan said.

Speaking about his arrest, Saghatelyan said that it was a political order which was clearly seen from the behavior of supervising body.

“The person on the seat of the country’s PM has no mechanism of adopting decisions. He does something instinctively…In his imagination Ara Saghatelyan is on the top of a pyramid. This person is so fool that he does not understand that social relations are not being built by pyramids only,” he said, adding that the supervising body was under unprecedented pressure.

Sagahtelyan also said that from the statement of ex-director of the NSS Mikayel Hambardzumyan it becomes clear that the NSS has been used as tool for persecutions by filing unfounded criminal cases.

Saghatelyan also said that his belongings seized from apartment and his office have not been returned yet.
