Armenia needs strong OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship
Four months after military hostilities Azerbaijan continues violating international humanitarian and human rights keeping Armenian prisoners of war and civilians, Armenia’s foreign minister Ara Aivazian said after the meeting with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Swedish FM Ann Linden.
The minister stressed that the final political resolution of NK conflict is possible exclusively in the sidelines of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.
“We need the strong chairmanship of the Minsk group which will manage to lead the peace process. We also need strong and consolidated OSCE as body responsible for security and peace in the region. We highlight the role of the OSCE chairmanship,” Armenian minister said.
He stressed that Armenia has always been speaking for peace but it is not just a beautiful word.
“We will continue our fight for fair and dignified peace closely cooperating with our international partners,” he said.
