Armenia has two scenarios for future – the two exclude one another: expert
Armenia has two scenarios for future, expert in international affairs Suren Sargsyan wrote on Facebook.
The first according to him is the adoption of strategy of return of Artsakh and focusing the whole national resource over it.
The second is to accept the act of capitulation and build the future over the prospect of supposed unblocking of the region, making the capitulation act the “founding document” of the state.
The expert noted that any third scenario is the modification of the mentioned two and that these two scenarios exclude one another.
“1. The “unblocking” will not be in the broad sense of the meaning if we are adopting the first scenario.
2. If we even accept the second one Azerbaijan and Turkey will always take into account the prospect of the first scenario. With the capitulation act it becomes clear that this prospect is first of all rather foggy and secondly, not beneficial and the most important is that the “unblocking” will turn to “blocking” within few hours.
3. By the way, the foggy nature of the second scenario is agreed with territorial demands Turkey and Azerbaijan still have from Armenia.
4. The staying of the incumbent authorities on power excludes the first scenario.
5. It also excludes the second as these authorities, being the authors and supporters of the second scenario will undermine even that scenario,” Sargsyan wrote.
