Homeland Salvation Movement opens Baghramyan Avenue, to organize rally on Sunday to present future actions
Homeland Salvation Movement issued a statement saying that they will open Baghramyan Avenue not to cause inconveniences to the people.
It said that for quite long time they are fighting through different protest actions, rallies and other political events against the authorities who brought the country to disaster.
“During this period we succeeded to form a wide public consolidation over the demand of removal of the person who has clung to the seat of the PM. The regime though slowly but gives up under the wide public pressure,” the movement said in the statement, adding that it is clear for all that without the resolution of the existing crisis Armenia’s development is impossible, moreover the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is in danger.
The statement also said that in the current phase the movement has decided to launch new wave of political actions expanding the geography of the actions and involving population in provinces as well.
For keeping the public pressure and coordinating the future actions of the movement it will declare the tent camp located on Demirthcyan street as its headquarter.
The movement will also restore the free movement on Baghramyan Avenue eliminating the inconveniences created for the citizens.
The statement also said that the movement invites a big national rally on March 28 at 3 p.m. on Baghramyan-Demirtchyan streets to present the future actions.
“Our goal and agenda are unchanged. We will fight and win,” the statement concluded.
