Armenia’s PM says Armenian-Russian joint troop important formula to confront security threats

The most important formula to confront the security threats is the joint Armenian-Russian troop which already exists in Armenia, PM Nikol Pashinyan said at Aragats community of Armavir province.

The PM said it is necessary to strengthen the Armenian-Russian joint troop as an important element of regional security.

Pashinyan though added that it does not mean that it necessary to always get prepared for new wars.

“On the contrary, we must use it to change our vision over the region and help the region change its viewpoint over us too,” Pashinyan said.

The PM also stressed the necessity of unblocking regional communications.

“Our railway to Iran and Russia passes through Azerbaijan. We cannot get a road from them and not give them one through our territory. We must make decisions that we must get use of the roads reciprocally,” Pashinyan said.
