Robert Kocharyan’s candidacy as united opposition candidate for PM’s post not discussed – Vazgen Manukyan
United opposition candidate Vazgen Manukyan says he will not participate in snap parliamentary elections in any format.
Manukyan told the reporters about it on Baghramyan Avenue today.
“I may probably go to meetings or speak on TV but it will not be in favor of any candidate or party but about the general situation and against Nikol,” Manukyan said.
He noted that currently two process are taking place in Armenia – Nikol Pashinyan strengthens his administrative resource and neutralizes the army.
As to the possibility for Robert Kocharyan be the candidate of the movement, Manukyan said, “Such thing was not discussed now, this is why I cannot tell anything. You should take into consideration that the candidate has the commitment not to become PM in a year. If there are people who agree to it and I see that they are able to settle the issues, I have no problem,” Manukyan said.
