Lung ventilation equipment of Armenian production ready for clinical testing – minister

Lung ventilation equipment of Armenian production is fully ready for clinical testing, certification and production, High Technology Industry Minister Hakob Arshakyan wrote on Facebook in the morning on Wednesday.

“Last year in the sidelines of government program and in collaboration with the engineering association the process of working out ventilation equipment launched in Armenia. The presented equipment is complicated engineering system which with the worked out algorithms of volume of air and pressure replaces person’s respiratory system. As a result of cooperation with NASA JPL laboratory you may see that five examples of the equipment are ready and undergo testing for being certificated and produced in future,” he wrote, expressing hope that it will turn into real production and medical equipment construction will develop in Armenia.
