Armenia’s health minister advises everyone to get vaccinated with AstraZeneca

Armenia’s Health Ministry is closely following all the developments over AstraZeneca vaccine, minister Anahit Avanesyan told the reporters after cabinet sitting today.

She said a gathering will be convened on Friday to discuss the changes in the instructions in Germany, according to which the age threshold has been raised.

“We will build our actions in accordance with it,” she said.

The minister said the officials who would like to publicize the process and information of their vaccination will do it.

“But you know that it is not allowed to publicize medical secret by others,” she said, asked whether the representatives of authorities, including PM’s relatives were vaccinated or not.

She said they will ensure the vaccines be on their places from Monday.

As to whether she will advise her relatives to get vaccinated with AstraZeneca, the minister said she offers everyone to get vaccinated.
