SIS bans Ishkhan Saghatelyan leave Armenia for three days
Armenia’s Special Investigation Service banned Armenia to leave Armenia for three days.
In a Facebook post Saghatelyan reported that he has been prohibited to leave due to the criminal case launched against him from November past year for illegal organization of rally.
“They tried to arrest me illegally but failed and applied other pre-trial measure – signature bond on not leaving with it restricting my right of free movement,” Saghatelyan wrote, adding that he had an important work abroad regarding political activity of the party. He said he applied to the SIS to get permission to leave the country for three days but was rejected.
“The investigator substantiated the denial with exclusively the circumstance that while being abroad they would probably not manage to control my inappropriate behavior. I have an impression that the investigator even did not try to find any legally substantiated, comprehensible grounding,” he wrote, adding that SIS, on behalf of its head Sasun Khachatryan continues implementing the illegal orders and decisions of the “madman”.
