Armenia’s PM says Russian peacekeepers the main acting persons in ensuring security and stability
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met today with President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan.
During the meeting the PM briefed to Artsakh president the results of the Moscow visit.
He stressed that the issue of Artsakh and the situation over it was the core issue of discussions with the Russian president.
Artsakh President in his turn highlighted the future actions in security and political areas, in particular relating to the status of Karabakh where he said the actions must be not only agreed but flow in the same direction.
“In this pre-context we too highlight your visit to Moscow, and here the role of the Russian Federation and Russia’s president in particular in signing the peace and maintaining Karabakh’s peace in post-war period is invaluable,” Artsakh president said.
Pashinyan said that today the Russian peacekeepers are the main acting persons in ensuring security and stability.
“In this regard it should be registered that the activity of the Russian peacekeepers, indeed, is very effective and I hope and I am convinced that it will continue with the same efficiency,” Pashinyan said.
