Ex-ambassador says if he decides to participate in snap elections will do it on his own

Armenia’s former ambassador to the Holy See Mikayel Minasyan in an interview to Armnews TV Channel stated that he will not support any political force on the threshold of upcoming elections be them pro-governmental forces or real opposition.

“I officially state that on the threshold of these elections I will never support any force be it pro-governmental and there are a lot, it is not only My Step, Nikol Pashinyan has an army of pro-governmental opponents, or be it really opposition. Neither of my friends, associates will be in any list, if he/she is in the list of anyone, he/she is neither my friend in the wide sense of meaning, nor my associate. If I decide to participate in these elections I will do it on my own, with my friends and people for who I will bear direct responsibility. And yes, I will remove Nikol Pashinyan from power. I will not only remove him, but I will punish Nikol Pashinyan and prove to the world that Nikol Pashinyan is the enemy of the Armenian people, traitor and murderer,” Minasyan said.
