Ex-ambassador claims Shushi and Hadrut may be returned without war

Armenia’s ex-ambassador to Vatican Mikayel Minasyan claims that it is possible to bring Shushi and Hadrut back without war. He said Armenia does not have resource for new war.

“I claim that we must try to strengthen our dignified relations with Russia and build form of new relations about which I wrote two years ago in my article,” he said.

Minasyan stressed that it is necessary to accept that we do not have the Armenia which ended with the first day of power of Nikol Pashinyan.

“During these three years he simply took everything from us. We either accept it and receive right medicine and head to future, or continue lying to one another and have no future. I am for the future, if I start I will start for the future and not for the past,” Minasyan said in the interview to Armnews TV channel.

Asked whether he is ready to remove Pashinyan “from the window” if the latter decides not to hold elections, Minasyan said, “I wrote that I would be waiting for my turn. I believe I have waited long enough and I saw that no one manages to throw this person out of the window. Therefore, now it is my turn to decide whether I want to assume it or not. If I assume, I will throw him, don’t doubt.”
