Parents of missing servicemen spend whole night near MOD building keeping entrances closed

Parents of missing servicemen spent the whole night near the building of the Ministry of Defense keeping the entrances closed.

“We have spent the whole night at the entrances of the Ministry of Defense. During these 24 hours neither the Chief of the General Staff nor the defense minister, who were in the building came to talk to the people,” one of the relatives of missing servicemen Arsen Ghukasyan told live on Facebook.

He said yesterday the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Artak Davtyan wanted to receive few but the parents demanded the top military official come and speak to all the gathered.

“In the morning today a helicopter arrived, entered the MOD platform and probably took Vagharshak Harutyunyan [defense minister] away. During these few days you made steps that will never be forgiven, you ignored people who are suffering today in Azerbaijani jails, you ignored our tombs. You fled like cowards, you have no strength to stand before the mothers and respond,” Ghukasyan said.
