People under 55 not to be vaccinated with AstraZeneca in Armenia – minister
Considering the existing precautions a decision has been made not to vaccinate people under 55 with AstraZeneca vaccine in Armenia, healthcare minister Anahit Avanesyan said about it today.
The minister added that there are no age restrictions for Russian Sputnik V but there is limited quantity.
“A decision has been made that Sputnik V will be used for medical workers aged from 18-54, people under 54 with chronic diseases and residents of social centers – under 54,” Avanesyan said.
The minister also added that vaccinations with AstraZeneca will launch in capital Yerevan from April 13 and in provinces from April 14. After a few days vaccinations with Sputnik V will launch.
