Ad hoc investigative commission on 44-day war to be created, but it is necessary to wait a bit – My Step deputy
An investigative ad hoc commission for studying circumstances of the 44-war will by all means be created, My Step deputy Armen Khachatryan told the reporters today.
The deputy though added that it is necessary to wait a little.
“The commission has creation time. When should it be created? Now? A month later? Or it should have been created a month before. I believe that there is a need to wait few months, not so long. Numerous criminal cases have been filed during the war. There are hundreds of such, if not thousands. Preliminary investigation of these cases is underway,” he said.
He also added that if the investigative commission is created now they will not manage to gather proofs.
“We must wait for the preliminary investigation bodies end their work which will be of big help to the investigative commission,” he said, adding that the authorities of the commission are limited and they cannot willingly invite anyone for explanations and testimonies.
