All anti-Armenian points offered by Azerbaijan at Euronest PA session left out from resolutions – My Step deputy

Armenia’s NA delegation recently participated in the online plenary session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.

Speaking to reporters today My Step faction deputy Viktor Yengibaryan said the Armenian side emphasized the issue of the return of Armenian captives.

He said there is a wide consensus with the European colleagues over the issue.

“Not only our delegates but a group of European deputies delivered speeches and noted that Azerbaijan must certainly implement the arrangements,” Yengibaryan said.

He noted that chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament did not deliver speech which gave grounds to the Armenian side to suppose that the Azerbaijani side is not satisfied with the work of the Euronest.

“All the anti-Armenian points offered by them were left out from different resolutions,” the deputy said.

He also added that even during the works of the commission on energy affairs Azerbaijani representatives were trying to harm Armenia’s interests with their vocabulary, which, though, according to the deputy, they did not succeed.
