PAP deputy believes they will win in elections, Gagik Tsarukyan to be head of the state

Prosperous Armenia party is not discussing the issue of the election list yet, member of the parliamentary faction of the party Mikayel Minasyan told the reporters today, adding that it is yet early to discuss it.

He said the party will head to elections alone, without a bloc.

“I believe that we will win. This circumstance does not suppose that any political force will get 50+1%. There will be a balanced power, but Gagik Tsarukyan will be the head of the state,” Melkumyan said, adding that prerequisites have been created in the country that a force that has never been on power come to power.

Asked whether in case of forming coalition they will again claim that Tsurukyan be the head of the state, Melkumyan said, “And who must be if we win?”

The deputy also noted that there will be political consolidations, but now they are not speaking about it as they don’t know in what way the other forces will participate.
