Armenia to extend ban on imports of Turkish goods – Armenia's acting economy minister
The issue of opening border with Turkey is not on our agenda yet, Armenia’s acting minister of economy Vahan Kerobyan told the reporters after cabinet sitting today.
“We will extend the ban on import of Turkish goods. More probably, we will also add the ban on their sale. It will not matter when it was imported, we will restrict the sale anyway because some manage to “insert” Turkish products in devious ways,” the acting minister said, adding that the approach here must be symmetric.
“When a decision on restoring the symmetric relations is made on the political level that time we will try to do the best to defend our economy from the flood of Turkish products,” Kerobyan said.
