Pashinyan has no chances for re-election – Robert Kocharyan

Lies by the officials must become criminally punitive, Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan said at the meeting with his supporters.

“The legislation must have a point that if it is proved with the force of law that an official lied, he/she loses his/her position and is deprived of the right to hold any state post for five years,” he said.

He said he will come to power to solve the issues of the people, raise the standards of living.

Kocharyan said the upcoming elections in Armenia will not be of easy ones, there will be a need of huge volume of propaganda work.

He said people have already become used to street fight.

“I think there will be a need of such fight , probably it will be. After the resignation the law enforcement system will behave in a more restricted way, understanding that this person has no chances for re-election,” Kocharyan said.

The second president said the nation has been left with bent neck.

“If this continues a little bit more we will become a tribe,” he said.
