For these authorities human life is of no value – Serzh Sargsyan

For this prime minister and authorities human life is of no value, Armenia’s third president Serzh Sargsyan said in an interview.

“If it had value and if we were in war the result would not be such. It is unequivocal. This is what my resignation was about when I was saying that I thought human life is valuable for him,” Serzh Sargsyan said.

“I believe this prime minister and these authorities will not resign voluntarily. Though during these three years they were busy with ruining. They just ruined, took the people… they took them to war being convinced that the number of victims will be disproportionate. So why don’t they use disproportionate force to keep the power,” he said, adding that they saw the use of disproportionate force.

“We see on these days how police officers, law enforcement bodies behave toward the people who voiced obscene words in PM’s address. It appears, that the PM can say whatever he wants to everyone, but the others cannot say anything to him,” Sargsyan said, adding that if you allow yourself offend one, you must be ready to receive offence from another.

“And are you going to use tough force every time hearing offense, shock the law enforcement bodies? We have not done it. Perhaps this is the way to keep power, but it is not for me,” the third president said.
