Armenia’s parliament to discuss election of prime minister today
Armenia’s National Assembly will hold a special session today at noon to discuss the issue of election of prime minister.
According to arrangement, the ruling My Step faction will nominate Nikol Pashinyan’s candidacy while the others will not nominate any candidacy.
On April 25 Nikol Pashinyan announced resignation.
The parliament will not elect PM twice after which the National Assembly will be dissolved and snap parliamentary elections will take place.
The elections are scheduled for June 20.
