Armenia’s Acting PM named 4 factors that resulted in recognition of genocide by U.S. President
Armenia’s Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan named four factors that in his words resulted in the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by U.S. President Joe Biden.
He said there is one long-term, one mid-term and two short-term factors.
“The long-term factor, unequivocally is the consistent work of the U.S.-Armenian community and Diaspora, the mid-term factor is Turkey’s regional policy and in this pre-context the dissonance created between Turkey and the United States. The short-term factors are the 44-day war and Turkey’s open and intensive engagement and Armenia’s being a democratic country,” Pashinyan said at the NA today.
He said these four factors resulted in unprecedented and historic decision the U.S. President made.
