Baku implements anti-Armenian bacchanal – Armenia’s acting PM to Russia’s FM
Armenia is ready to undertake utmost efforts to ensure constructive dialogue in trilateral format but Azerbaijan’s actions do not promote the progress in the dialogue, Armenia’s acting PM Nikol Pashinyan said at the meeting with the Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov.
He stressed that Baku’s actions manipulating the return of prisoners of war, implements anti-Armenia bacchanal.
“They [Azerbaijan] voice territorial aspirations toward Armenia and now they started eliminating the Armenian cultural and religious heritage,” he said adding that their actions are aimed at bringing tension to the region and undermining the arrangements.
In this pre-context Armenian Acting PM hailed the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs which he said is a response to Azerbaijan’s non-constructive position.
“I want to stress our position that it is necessary to restore the peace process to reach final regulation of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict on the basis of principles offered by the co-chairs,” Pashinyan said.
The Acting PM also stressed that the presence of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno Karabakh is firm guarantee of NK security.
Pashinyan also stressed the role of Russian president in achieving peace in the region and stressed that Armenia will continue undertaking necessary measures addressed to bringing into life the arrangements reached by November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021 trilateral statements.
