Unsolved status biggest threat to Artsakh - analyst
It is difficult to imagine a greater threat for Artsakh than keeping the issue of status in uncertainty, head of Henaket think-tank Tigran Abrahamyan wrote on Facebook, noting that it is directly connected with Artsakh security.
“If we are taking into consideration the provisions of November 9 trilateral statement, in particular the 5-month term of arrangements, it becomes clear that in each five-month period, in conditions of unsettled issue of status, we will face danger of new war,” Abrahamyan stressed.
He added that the incumbent authorities not only failed to insert document of the trilateral statement but today as well they do not undertake practical steps to bring them to prior agenda.
“In such conditions the Russian side will move with the path and with the priorities which first of all are on its regional agenda,” Abrahamyan noted, adding that Armenia does not exist as a side and after November 9 statement all the issues relating to it Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran and others discuss with Russia.
