Armenia acting health minister attends Security Council session
Acting minister of health Anahit Avanesyan participated in the session of the Security Council.
Avanesyan though left the reporters question why she attended the session not being member of the council without response.
Asked about the Sisian poisoning case, the acting minister said that samples from water have been taken and examination is underway.
She said the process will soon be completed and results published.
As to whether the Azeris have anything to do with the poisoning, Avanesyan said currently nothing hints such possibility.
“There was an issue of rain waters, sewer malfunction which has already been settled,” she said.
Security Council has convened session today to thoroughly discuss the situation in Syunik.
