False and manipulative information provided by authorities weakens us from inside and outside - Ara Saghatelyan

Public-political figure Ara Saghatelyan speaking at an open discussion today said the key reason of the weakening of state, people and nations’ immunity is the low quality information Armenia’s incumbent authorities were feeding the people for three years.

“We are dealing with a person who usurped the power, who created in our country empire of manipulations and lie and spreads it, and today we call it “nikolavirus.” It is governance system based on irresponsibility, lie, falsification, manipulations, sowing evil which poisons people’s minds, souls, mutilates mentality, deviates values,” he said.

Ara Saghatelyan also stressed that the false and manipulative information which is periodically being provided by the authorities not only mutilates our system of values but weakens us from inside and outside.

“In case of attacks from outside we do not manage to present our interests properly and these negative impulses are being perceived by the adversary which is rather worrying," Saghatelyan said.
