Russia is in constant contact with Armenia, Baku – Kremlin spokesperson
The issue of Russian military assistance to Armenia has many times been discussed during the contacts between Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated.
Asked whether Putin received a letter from Pashinyan in which the Armenian acting PM requests military assistance from Russia, Peskov said, “I cannot tell you clearly, but all the issues have many times been discussed during bilateral contacts.”
He also stressed that the Russian and Armenian sides are in constant contact.
“We are also in constant contact with Baku. The president is a strong supporter of indispensability of the implementation of trilateral agreements, and currently intensive efforts are being exerted to ease the tension and remedy the situation,” Kremlin spokesperson stressed.
