Azerbaijan ready to work on peaceful treaty with Armenia – Aliyev
Azerbaijan is ready to work on peaceful treaty with Armenia and demarcation of the borders, Azerbaijan’s president Ilham Aliyev stated at “The South Caucasus: Perspectives of Regional Development and Cooperation” conference today.
“I have many times stated that we are ready to work on peaceful treaty with Armenia, to fully end the military part of mutual relations and minimize the future risks. I have also many times applied with the offer of delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian borders. But Armenia’s leadership declines these offers,” Aliyev stated.
He stressed that by now Armenia has not passed to Azerbaijan the minefield maps in Karabakh due to which over 100 people were injured after the end of war in the region.
