Armenia's President, Acting PM meet, discuss border demarcation issue

Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian met with Armenia’s Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the president’s residence today.

The working meeting took place at the initiative of the president.

During the meeting the interlocutors referred to the situation created on Armenian-Azerbaijani border, pace of withdrawing the sub-divisions of the Azerbaijani armed forces that penetrated into Armenia’s sovereign territory, course of actions carried out to exclude the encroachments on Armenia’s territorial integrity.

Views were exchanged on Armenia’s position and pre-conditions for launching demarcation and delimitation works.

It has been stressed that only in case they are satisfied necessary conditions will be created for launching relevant discussions in that direction.

The president of the republic presented his views at the meeting.
