Armenia to use force if sees first pre-signs from Azeri side – military official

Political leadership does not give order not to shoot, such order is being given by military leadership, head of the chief operative department of the Armenian Armed Forces, deputy chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Mayor-General Edward Asryan told the reporters today.

He stressed that no one bans Armed Forces fulfill its duties.

Asryan said if the Armenian side feels that it cannot fight with the adversary with hands and sees pre-signs that the adversary tries to dictate its conditions in other direction, military force will  be used.

“We will eliminate all the servicemen of the adversary in our territory. They are all under target, their servicemen, the installed tents, means. They are all visible. There are no hidden forces,” the military said.

Asryan stressed that there are no such pre-signs yet.

He said if Azerbaijan tries to somehow withdraw its forces from the Armenian side, it will be the first pre-sign that it prepares to use force.
