Armenia MOD refutes information about fire opened by adversary in Armenia’s Tavush
The information about the fire opened by the adversary in Armenia’s Tavush province does not correspond to reality, Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Aysor.am.
MOD noted that one of the sub-divisions of the Armenian Armed Forces were conducting training firing exercises.
Earlier Wargonzo Telegram channel reported about fire in the direction of Berd town of Armenia’s Tavush province – on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and shooting heard in Nerkin Karmiraghbyur community.
Head of Chinari community Samvel Saghoyan confirmed the information to Aysor.am that the adversary opened fire in Chinari.
Head of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur Levon Arakelyan said no shooting was heard in their village and that the situation is calm.
Earlier Ministry of Defense reported about shooting in the border section of Gegharkunik’s Kut village, adding that the shooting was in the air, no casualties reported.
