The Republic of Armenia has applied to the European Court of Human Rights demanding ensuring the fundamental rights of the six Armenian soldiers captured by Azerbaijan.
The office of Armenia’s Representative to the ECHR said they demand interim measure against Azerbaijan under Canon 39 of Canons of the Court.
“The goal of the submitted application is to guarantee the life guaranteed by the European Convention of Human Rights and ensuring the right of refraining from tortures,” the statement of the office said.
