In the created conditions no guarantees can be given that incidents will not occur, head of the chief operative department of the Armenian Armed Forces, deputy chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Mayor-General Edward Asryan told the reporters today.

“We cannot guarantee that the incidents will not repeat, but if we adopt a very serious position and demand till the end the return of our captured and this condition be the only one and the prior one, incidents will not repeat but to guarantee that they will not, we can’t,” he stressed.

Asryan said he personally voiced to the Russian colleagues the clear demand of the Armenian side that the captured Armenian servicemen be returned to Armenia and the Russian colleagues must convey this demand to the Azerbaijani side.

“We will not take any step until our captives are returned,” he said.
