Armenia's state debt makes over 7 billion USD – acting finance minister
Economic growth forecasts have been reviewed during the year, Armenia’s acting minister of finance Atom Janjughazyan said at the parliament today during the discussion of 2020 budget.
He said the economic decline for 2020 was expected to be 7,9% but factually 7,6% was recorded.
"In nominal terms the GDP amounted to over 6 trillion 184 billion AMD. The average inflation made 1,2%," Janjughazyan said.
Referring to the state debt the acting minister said the state debt level reached 7 billion 968 million USD.
"7 billion 509 million USD from this sum is government’s debt, the rest is the Central Bank’s. in the Government’s debt the external debt part made 5 billion 593 million USD and the inner debt – 1 billion 915 USD," the minister said.
