Our today’s reality is a minefield through which the country must pass – Armenia ex-PM urges to go to voting, support Kocharyan
Armenia’s former prime minister Karen Karapetyan issued a statement, stressing the importance of the 2021 June 21 snap parliamentary elections.
“The 2021 June 20 parliamentary elections are extremely important for the future of Armenia. Our country has appeared in a deep crisis as a result of war and stopping this course is urgent today,” he said.
He stressed that the battle-worthiness of the army has essentially reduced and the whole system of Armenia and Artsakh security has been shuttered.
He noted that serious social issues have been created demanding mobilization of all the possible resources.
The ex-PM stressed that the inner separation, passiveness have destructive impact on the development of the society and the state.
Karapetyan stressed that the moment is critical and the existing challenges are multi-layer and dangerous while solutions are restricted and demand high professionalism.
He stressed that first it is necessary to rapidly restore the security system of the country, establish atmosphere of tolerance and calmness, have the image of predictable and reliable partner in the foreign political relations.
“Our today’s reality is a minefield through which the country must pass. It has no opportunity to bypass it. It is necessary to pass this path as effectively as possible, with minimal losses,” he stressed, adding that it may only be done by Robert Kocharyan.
Karapetyan urged all to go to voting and soberly think over the situation, the existing challenges and which is the team that may confront and head the country to development.
