International observers positively assess organization and conduction of early parliamentary elections in Armenia
The international observers positively assessed the early parliamentary elections held in Armenia on Sunday.
“The elections were competitive and well-organized,” head of the OSCE PA delegation Kari Henriksen said at a news conference in Yerevan on Monday, noting though the hostile rhetoric of the participants of the elections.
Head of the PACE delegation George Katrougalos stated that the elections were organized in accordance with the law. He stressed that minor technical violations were noticed which though did not question the democratic and constitutional system.
Head of the ODIHR observation mission Eoghan Murphy stated that Armenia’s authorities have used their mandate professionally and created equal conditions for all the participants of the elections.
