Armenia excludes any concessions in its territory – Artak Davtyan

Armenia is not going to make any concessions in its territory, Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Artak Davtyan told the reporters today.

“We hope the issue will be settled through negotiations, if not corresponding decisions will be made,” Davtyan said.

As to the number of Azerbaijani military in the territory of Armenia, Davtyan said their number remained the same as stated – 1,000.

“The number of incidents that used to be previously is not being recorded now and it is first of all agreed with the negotiations,” Davtyan said.

He stressed that it is not being stated about the phases of the negotiation process not to harm it.

The Chief of the General Staff stated that the army is ready to settle the issue with force but it is not a desirable way taking into consideration the losses the Armenian side suffered during the recent war and the need to refrain from new disasters.
