Pashinyan’s Civil Contract receives 53,91%, Kocharyan’s “Armenia” bloc – 21,9% - CEC sums up final results
Armenia’s Central Election Commission summed up the final results of the snap parliamentary elections held in Armenia on June 20.
President of the CEC Tigran Mukuchyan stated that acting PM Nikol Pashinyan’s Covil Contract Party gathered 53,91% votes, ex-president Robert Kocharyan’s “Armenia” bloc received 21,9%.
“I Have Honor” bloc of ex-president Serzh Sargsyan and Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan gathered 5,22%, failing to pass the 7% barrier. Nevertheless, the bloc will appear in the parliament.
