Trust toward vaccinations grows among people – Armenia acting PM
A small growth in coronavirus cases has been recorded recently which is an alarm to accelerate the vaccination process, Armenia’s acting minister of health Anahit Avanesyan said at a cabinet sitting today. She said during the past day 186 new cases have been recorded, 5,093 people were tested.
She said as of today 97,711 people got vaccinated.
“We already notice the growth of the tempo of vaccinations,” she said, adding that all the people are free to get them.
Armenia’s acting PM Nikol Pashinyan stressed that yesterday they documented a record number of daily vaccinations which he said is very important.
“This figure should not go down, we must increase the volumes, especially in case when it is obvious that the trust toward vaccination is growing,” the acting PM said, stressing that no death cases from vaccination have been recorded in Armenia.
Diaspora affairs commissioner Zareh Sinanyan said foreigners too are being actively vaccinated in Armenia. The minister stressed to avoid queues in policlinics they will be vaccinated in mobile points.
